Skylight in Technic View

Glass skylight in a sliding louvre roof

01

Description

A skylight in a louvred roof is a highly functional solution that combines the benefits of an opening roof with those of a fixed glass roof. Importantly, no additional support posts are required to connect the two sections.

The Technic View louvred roof provides shade for the terrace and protects it from precipitation.
A glass roof allows maximum access to natural light. It also provides protection from precipitation but does not shade the area beneath it. It allows natural light to reach the desired part of the terrace without darkening the interior, for example, when the structure is installed next to the entrance to the living room.

Key features

The glass roof section (skylight) allows maximum natural light to enter. It is an ideal solution for terraces that need more daylight or where you want to avoid reducing the amount of natural light entering the adjoining living room.

All structural elements, including the posts, frame and roof louvres, are made of extruded aluminium and finished with powder coating.

When closed, the roof provides protection against rain.
The structure is equipped with an integrated drainage system.

During opening, the louvres rotate from a horizontal to a vertical position.
They align parallel and slide to the side, forming a compact stack that occupies only 25% of the roof area.
When open, the roof allows natural air circulation and lets in as much sunlight as needed.
When closed, it protects against overheating, rain and snow.

A fixed glass roof with no opening option.
Provides a high level of natural light.
A great solution for terraces that need to be brightened.

The chambered aluminium louvres protect the terrace from excessive heat build-up.
They provide effective shading, while the sliding louvres allow precise control of incoming light

The permissible snow load depends on the dimensions of the structure. It ranges from 75 kg/m² for the largest module to 620 kg/m² for the smallest

The structure is designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 160 km/h.

The roof can be controlled via remote control or a smartphone app.
The app allows you to operate the roof from anywhere (with internet access), set automation scenarios, and simulate presence at home (e.g. by turning on the terrace lighting).

Side enclosures

ZIP screens provide protection against excessive sunlight, wind, dirt and insects. They offer greater privacy by shielding the terrace from neighbours’ view while still allowing visibility from inside. The ZIP locking system and guide inserts keep the fabric taut and securely in place within the guide rails, even during gusts of wind.

Shutters are sliding aluminium panels, ideal for enclosing terraces, balconies and loggias. They provide protection against sunlight and wind while enhancing privacy. The adjustable louvres allow you to control their angle, while the two-zone adjustment system offers precise control over the amount of sunlight entering the space.

Glazing systems provide effective protection against the elements without restricting natural light. Frameless glazing creates an almost invisible enclosure, preserving unobstructed views. These systems extend the outdoor living season from early spring to late autumn. The sliding panels can be easily opened or closed as needed.

The fixed panel is a versatile solution that can be used to partially or fully enclose the sides of a pergola. Made from high-quality aluminium, it provides effective protection against intense sunlight, wind and rain.
